"Welcome to WiseWomenUnite.com -- When adult children marry and leave home, life can sometimes get more complex instead of simpler.  Being a mother-in-law or daughter-in-law can be tough.  How do we extend love and support to our mothers-in-law, adult children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and grandchildren without interfering?  What do we do when there are communication problems?  How can we ask for help when we need it without being a burden?  And how do our family members feel about these issues?  We invite you to join our free forum, read some posts... and when you're ready...share your challenges and wisdom."

OK...many of you posted back to me and showed a serious interest in my new Web-forum at www.AgingWithWisdom.com

Now I need your help. Please take a moment when you have one to create a thread there, so we can get it going. It's just sitting there, sleeping, and Kirk worked his tail off to get it up and running for me on my birthday three days ago.

It was the same when he launched WWU...people from www.MomResponds.com helped me get some momentum. THANKS!!  :D

Luise I have made numerous attempts to register.  I cannot get a registration, it says I haven't answered verifications questions correctly.  I don't see any questions, don't know what the problem is but I'd love to join. ???

R - Thank you so much! I have sent that on to Kirk. Sending love...

Well I'm In!  ...and here was the problem just in case any other dumb %&*!'s (as DH would say) make the same mistake - the question 'what is 1 plus 1' I thought the question mark was a '7' so I kept answering 18.  I always make things harder than they are, duh, which is why I am on this website right now.   thanks Luise!

R - If it happened to you, it can happen to others and we need our new members! Thanks for your input. I have suggested to Kirk that he reword the questions to: What is 1 plus 1 when added together?" That will take the question mark away from the number.

I just registered, and started a thread.  I'm a planner, so it's really nice to have a place to go to explore these topics.  Thanks, Luise!
This too shall pass.  All is well.

R - I just got this from Kirk:

Changed both AWW and WWU registration to read: "When you add 1 and 1 together, what is the sum?"

Thanks again from catching that weak spot.

Dear Louise,

Congratulations on your new forum. You and your wonderful son Kirk have done it again! I have no doubt it will be a great success as so much of this information is needed.

Hugs.....

Thanks! I hope you decide to create a thread there. It takes a lot to get the momentum a forum requires to survive.
