My hubby took me to a very nice, local restaurant to eat tonight, since I have have not had a really, good hot meal in a few days.  They have fed us well, but it's been sandwiches, pizza and such.  I had baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and a homemade roll!  Yum.

Awww, good hubby Pooh.  I'm glad you got a hot meal, nothing better than mashed potatoes.

Hey all, if you want to, can you post your knock-out recipes.  I'm always wanting to try new things.

I went over the Assisted Care and ate there not to be alone. You don't want to know what the menu was

I'm sorry Luise. We're having grilled lobster tails, grilled asparagus, quinoa, and green salad. I'll save some for ya! Can you believe I bought lobster tails for Valentine's Day and forgot I still had a couple in the freezer?

Well if it makes you feel any better Luise, I actually ate an MRE this week!  The spaghetti tasted like spagetti-os, but the crackers weren't bad!

Pen, how could you forget lobster?????????

There must be some other goodies in that freezer of hers if she forgot lobster!!!

It was Sunday with G-ma...as usual. Roast beef, mashed potatoes, and canned green beans.

Her Sunday dinners are the antithesis of the typical Sunday dinner I think most families have. LOL.

Since we're leaving on Wednesday and my house cleaner is coming tomorrow we're not having any cooked meals.  Take out only for dinner - english muffins for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch -so there you go.

Hey, forgetting lobster is the least of my worries. Sometimes I'm surprised I can remember to cook dinner at all!
