Well, I have to tell those of you that were active on the "clotted cream fudge discussion" (that came out of talking about unwanted Christmas gifts)...that what I then ordered out of curiosity was spectacular. It came from Scottland and had no chocolate in it. In some ways it reminded me of the walnut panoche we made as kids from brown sugar and butter...but...it was much, much smoother! Melt-in-your-mouth stuff. Just reporting back.... :)
OK, what are you trying to do to me? I make it through the holidays avoiding fudge and toffee, and now you tempt me w/ this :)
Well, I had everything you turned down sent secretly to me! What's a friend for? 8)
I dunno - fudge without chocolate seemed like a big disappointment imo. In fact, sweets that aren't chocolate are a waste of calories for me!
success Luise !
Fudge is made with butter and cream and sugar and vanilla .
Any other ingredients are by choice , this is a great recipe :

I will admiit, on New Years, on a dare, I tried a piece. It was good! It tasted like Worther's candy.
I'm going to try that recipe, my sweet tooth cannot resist.
I dread the day when I will no longer be a bad influence... ;D ;D ;D
Well you should know that I don't ever see that happening! :P
