Title: Free on kindle: Abandoned Parents..The Devil's Dilemma
Post by: kate123 on April 05, 2015, 03:47:51 PM
I just finished reading this book and found that everything I have experienced is in there. It would be a very good read for someone new in this situation to avoid years of grief and guilt as it emphasizes that you did nothing wrong outside mistakes all parents make. I am not sure that it provided any resolution, as more often than not there is none, but it does give advice on coping.

K, sounds like an interesting read ... but, it's "free" only to Kindle Unlimited subscribers -- who pay $9.99 per month. The regular Kindle download is $7.50.

Shiny, I just bought a used kindle from ebay. When I opened the ad for the book on Amazon, there were two options- do you want to pay, or do you want the free download,...duh.. gee I don't which one?   :D  So try going to Amazon and look for the option. I think I may have at first used my computer because I was still learning my kindle. Maybe there is some other reason I got it free I don't know for sure. See if Luise got it free.

Dear Luise,
My Deer Friend was not intended for any purpose. Really, doesn't anyone watch National Geographic. And it does not seem quite right that I can't say I am going vegetarian. Others can mention their religious beliefs which I do not always agree with, but everyone has a right to believe what they want.
I was just sharing. I had befriended the doe over the winter when she broke her leg, she almost made it through except for the last bad storm. I had made a bed of straw by my house where she was laying, bought her some food. She was like a pet.
This is your site of course and you can chose to delete whatever you don't like. But I don't think I said anything that would be offensive to anyone, maybe you think it was just a little crazy I don't know.

Shiny,
Maybe you have to download the Kindle App. It says you can download it your computer. I am not computer savvy, just trial by error. I do not have Kindle Unlimited but like I said I do have a kindle. I just downloaded the app to my computer and the book also showed up there.
