Title: Making up for distance
Post by: holliberri on May 09, 2011, 11:45:03 AM
Thought this could apply to anyone: a GP with a GC far away, kids that couldn't make it home for Christmas, or perhaps a spouse deployed overseas...er, within reason, and all.  I'm not all about skyping for 2 hours every single Sunday...but I see where this would be such a good fit for our relationship with our in-laws if we could use it here and there and for brief moments. I feel like they'd be more incorporated into our lives that way.

That's great.  Also shows that grandparent aged people (cough, cough) aren't too far gone to be able to learn all this techo-gadgetity stuff!   ???

In my defense, I just call the greats "GPs" too...so it was all inclusive! LOL.

That's what mine do, too. The "handle" is too long, otherwise!  ;D
