Title: my apologies
Post by: miamigirl on December 13, 2013, 08:55:28 AM
luise I couldn't contact you offline...

i always say great answer to someone when i like what they said. i meant it as a compliment.

i understand the importance of being careful with our words but in no way, shape, or form did I think I would cause offense with "great answer". i understand you have the ability to close my account but before I go, I just want to "publicly" let you (and everyone else) know that I didn't mean any harm. I had no idea "great answer" would offend.  i'm sorry and i wish you'll the best :(

There's no need to apologise when you feel defensive. They don't go together. I love discussion...opinion...and commenting on each others comments. It's the meat of WWU. What makes it of value is the original share...from the heart...of someone struggling. Then we share all our struggles. There's nothing hypothetical or intellectual about it. It's real..not conceptual. If you honestly don't know the difference, then a discussion board might be a better fit. You are still welcome to stay and share. Please know I locked the thread, not your membership.
