I know I have said this before...and I want to respect your privacy and your decisions but I really miss you, Chickie.
Luise, I truly appreciate you saying that. I have been really sick and dealing with a lot healthwise....a scary thing.
I have been peeking occasionally at what you're all talking about. I feel such a kinship with everyone. I do miss everyone.

Chickie, please get well soon.
I've missed you and have been sending up prayers for you....

Chickie, take care of yourself and get through this knowing we are thinking about you. You probably need lots of rest and sleep, so your body can heal. Remember we miss you!
Get well soon Chickie! :(
Oh, what a relief to hear from you! I was so worried! No need to post until you are able and have the extra energy again. We are your e-family and we all love you deeply and dearly. Great healing can come from so much love!
Get Well Soon!
Thank you, Sassy...thank you, all of you for checking on me. I really appreciate it. This is one time I could not will myself to get better. You know when you're sick? and you try to feel better and you just can? I couldn't.
After I got out of the hospital ( OH MY LORD!! I'm so scared of the hospital. It is horrible. I hate them), we went to a dinner with my husband's work (I went for the food). :P
Anyway, this woman was sitting beside me. She said she had 2 sons. I said, "you're kidding?"
"no", she said she wasn't
I told her: "you know what you're going to have?"
"No, what?"
"Daughter in laws"
"Oh, I know but one of my sons is dating this wonderful girl right now"
I told her that they are always nice at first.
So I proceeded to tell her (never one to spare someone the good news)...."listen carefully, I told her. Don't ever laugh, she'll think you're laughing at her. Don't cry, she'll think you're manipulative and needy. Just sit and smile but don't smile too much, she'll think you're nuts and won't let you see the grandkids."
"Really, don't do anything at all, ever."
She was really astonished, I must say. Good way to get to know someone, kind of an ice breaker.
(part of my post disappeared)
Oh, I just hate that when the Monster That Eats Posts gobbles up one of mine!
I'm so terribly sorry you have been so sick.
Ping! Pingity, Ping, ping, Ping!!!
HAHAHA! OMG! I'm so happy to see you here! Still at it and plugging away! Well, I'm sure this woman is not sleeping at night! Or, knowing you, she is laughing so much she can't sleep!
I'm sorry the rest of this post was lost. :( but then, my imagination is filling in the rough spots! ;D
We missed you so much, Chickie! YOU ARE THIS SITE!
FGM (Fairy Godmother) is still working here! And, still as wise as ever! We have truly all been worried about you though, and it was impossible to hide! :)
yes, the most amazing part is that she was one of the owner's wives. I finally found a way for us to bond. Yes!! I'm sure she feels real close to me. ;D
I looked over at her during the most dreadful speech in recorded history and she was pretending she was reading but she was sleeping. I wanted to eat the food she left on her plate but I thought that might be inappropriate. I restrained myself.
Also, I had the most horrible urge to stand up and say, "SHUT UP!!!! to the speaker." But I didn't.
HAHAHA!!! I'm so glad you're here, Chickie!!!!
I've missed all of you....
There is only one Chickie! We love you to pieces! :-*
That reminds me, my husband wouldn't let me eat. I was allowed to eat a meal a day, and he would take me out for that and let me pick an appetiser - then we would share it! LOL! That was my "meal." He had such a big ego that he "had to have a skinny wife." I'm 5 feet tall and am built like Dolly Parton! He never had the skinny wife - you know you can buy different clothes trying to hide things, but the baggy shirts still just make you look "fat!" Youre story makes me wonder. I was cooking after I took him back and tasted the chili (I think it was), and I heard this voice behind me go, "UGH" when I turned to look, I saw him shaking his finger at me!
I'm a good size 8 now, except the shirts! HAHAHA!
We all missed you like crazy! You take care of yourself! We need you so much! And love you too! :)
He didn't want a wife built like Dolly P. Was he nuts?!!! Oh, yeah...I remember, now...he was! Dr. Bonkers!
Chickie - so sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Take good care of yourself and feel the love we are sending you.
Hugs,
Hope
Thank you Luise... It seems he took me, and thought I would change. I don't believe he understood that "some" things don't lose weight and are hard to hide. I'm not a "plastic surgery" nut either. I was always disappointed that I wasn't accepted by him they way I was, and am still confused as to why he married me. I think his friends opinions meant everything to him. People kept telling him how lucky he was. Looking back, I believe he was creating someone else's dream. He had allot of problems I won't go into. I believe he was trying to straighten himself out after other marriages before me (yes, plural). Says something about me too... Truth hurts.

Chickie was back for a bit tonight, Hope! She's coming back as fast as she can, and we will be smiling and laughing so soon. Did I ever tell you that Chickie had me laughing so hard one night, I peed my pants? Yep, had to go change them. Get used to it. You're here now! ;D ;D
OH MY LORD!!! He wouldn't let you eat? What a life you had to live, Coco. Breaks my heart. I have large ta's too. They were such big hits in school. Let me tell ya. Actually, they are not as perky as they used to be, sadly. I could use tube socks for bra's now. I don't, though. I perk them up.
Does he need to be done away with, Coco? Just wondering. I have this wayward uncle, such a scuz bag that I don't have anything to do with him but he could eliminate him for a carton of cigarettes. He's not bright enough to know he could get money.
I'm rolling here! Don't know what to say??? I don't think anyone can find him. It's like playing where's Waldo? Last I knew he was in Costa Rica and is ?? I think? still there. He came back here and my father turned him away. Thank God. He likes skinny girls with not "TA's." What was he thinkin? There's so much I can't figure out. He had some problems. He really did. I think I was a challenge for him. He won and I lost. I ain't losin again because there isn't an "again."
As far as the pack of cigarettes goes? Orly's little drooling devil is keeping me very happy! HAHAHA! He's a sweetheart!!!

I'm so happy you're back Chickie!!! ;D
I think I'll introduce him to my DIL then. That should do it. You will never seen him again, ever.
Chickie, you sound like your old self! I'm ROTFL. Glad you're back.
Coco - I was married 18 years to Kirk's dad. Knew him since I was 3 years old because our parents built log cabins near each other at the same summer resort. After 17 years of marriage he asked to to stop trying to make it work and just stay married and distant like his parents. (His concept of a good marriage.) He said no matter what I did, he would never like me and it was "nothing personal"...he just didn't like he type of person I was, male or female. I asked him why he proposed and he said "Well, that's easy, you were the most popular girl at the summer resort and it was a feather in my cap." I stayed one more year, (still trying) and then gave up. What jerks!!!
Chickie - You are a hoot!!! ;D ;D ;D We were all having withdrawal symptoms here!! I kid you not!!!! :( :o :(
Chickie,
I hope you feel better soon.
I am new to this site, but from reading all the posts from everyone, I know you are a special person and everyone loves you.
I was LOL when I read about you going to dinner and your "ice breaker" conversation with that lady. You are a riot. ;D
I can just imagine that lady thinking all these "new thoughts" as you gave her some things to think about.
When our sons are dating, the future DILs go out of their way to seem so extra kind and sweet......but after the wedding, it is a different story.
Please get your rest and take care.
And thanks for bringing a big smile my way tonite with your post. :)
Try and get your strength back Chickie....everybody has had an empty spot in their days without you.
Chickie,
You are very special and I hope all our love helps to heal you quicker. Love and hugs, Hope
