"Welcome to WiseWomenUnite.com -- When adult children marry and leave home, life can sometimes get more complex instead of simpler.  Being a mother-in-law or daughter-in-law can be tough.  How do we extend love and support to our mothers-in-law, adult children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and grandchildren without interfering?  What do we do when there are communication problems?  How can we ask for help when we need it without being a burden?  And how do our family members feel about these issues?  We invite you to join our free forum, read some posts... and when you're ready...share your challenges and wisdom."

Hi Luise.I haven't forgotten you or these wonderful women who helped me through hard times.DS is still having some problems.New school, new grades to teach, new principal, new condo.I just finished taking a course on anxiety put on by my medical clinic. It was nice to have a group to go to every week for three months and discuss our problems. Two social workers directed the group and we had lots of written homework.I learned a lot about myself and how to handle stress. My DS has been over for Thanksgiving and we met him last weekend in the city.DS treated us to lunch.Hopefully he is being helped also by his councellors.I have just started reading WWU tonight and was so glad to see your message. You are my inspiration on a lot of AC topics.I am now awaiting an appt with a urologist because I have blood in my urine.lol.So not sure when I will get in.Cannot go to Fl without clean bill of health.Think of you and. The girls often from the other group.Say hello to them for me as I have tests for the following few weeks.Hugs Nikncon.PS DS calls often to ask about my tests and results.xox.
