"Welcome to WiseWomenUnite.com -- When adult children marry and leave home, life can sometimes get more complex instead of simpler.  Being a mother-in-law or daughter-in-law can be tough.  How do we extend love and support to our mothers-in-law, adult children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and grandchildren without interfering?  What do we do when there are communication problems?  How can we ask for help when we need it without being a burden?  And how do our family members feel about these issues?  We invite you to join our free forum, read some posts... and when you're ready...share your challenges and wisdom."

Things have been better between dil & I since son & hubby have become more involved.  I have also tried to adjust my expectations.  This advice I think I got form you Creme,  & Coco too.  I have used quite a few of the suggestions I have gotten from the ladies here.  So all of this combined has helped me tremendously.  We still have a long way to go tho & sometimes I'm scared that we may not make it, that dil will decide we don't need to see our gc at all.  So we still walk on egg shells, but  they are tougher, & don't break as easy.   :)

Yeahhhhh, whooo hooo, congratulations Anna, and perhaps someday soon, those egg shells won't exist..I hope so....

Hugs
