"Welcome to WiseWomenUnite.com -- When adult children marry and leave home, life can sometimes get more complex instead of simpler.  Being a mother-in-law or daughter-in-law can be tough.  How do we extend love and support to our mothers-in-law, adult children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and grandchildren without interfering?  What do we do when there are communication problems?  How can we ask for help when we need it without being a burden?  And how do our family members feel about these issues?  We invite you to join our free forum, read some posts... and when you're ready...share your challenges and wisdom."

She is 87 and just to be with her is such a treat for me.  She's a little older than my own Mother would have been so she's a wonderful and loving substitute for me.

She is very wise and very kind.  I talk to her about many things and it never fails, she knows the right answer to keep me from falling off a cliff. I get my feelings hurt so easily so she always shows me what should hurt my feelings and what shouldn't. (can't believe I have to be told!!)

Sometimes the sweetest jewels come from people who are older and wiser and have already been down the road you're traveling.  I'm blessed to breakfast with this treasured lady about every 2 weeks.  I don't know what I'll do if anything happens to her!!  I know that day will come, though.  I'll just keep the treasures and see her again.
