I think you should also add "don't be afraid to sneak off to your room for a healthy swig of whatever gets you through the day".  (for medicinal purposes, of course)

By the way, I'm not sure I could do a swig around in-laws.  My mouth would get in the way!  LITERALLY...  Ha!

(but it would be so funny remembering the looks on everyone's faces later, wouldn't it!)
