"Welcome to WiseWomenUnite.com -- When adult children marry and leave home, life can sometimes get more complex instead of simpler.  Being a mother-in-law or daughter-in-law can be tough.  How do we extend love and support to our mothers-in-law, adult children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and grandchildren without interfering?  What do we do when there are communication problems?  How can we ask for help when we need it without being a burden?  And how do our family members feel about these issues?  We invite you to join our free forum, read some posts... and when you're ready...share your challenges and wisdom."

I just saw your post on another thread from a MONTH ago! (Not that I've been having trouble keeping up!) You commented on the retirement community where I live as a possible future choice for you. Please go to www.warmbeach.org for a better overview of my "home" and ask me any questions that come up. You have my private email address, if you don't want to pursue it there.

Val and I held off for several years in coming here because we are not of the faith this community represents, which is Free Methodist. (We are pretty far off-center, actually and more directed toward Spirituality than Religion.) Then when we came, we found we were welcomed and loved right along with everyone else. It's wonderful. Sending love...
