"Welcome to WiseWomenUnite.com -- When adult children marry and leave home, life can sometimes get more complex instead of simpler.  Being a mother-in-law or daughter-in-law can be tough.  How do we extend love and support to our mothers-in-law, adult children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and grandchildren without interfering?  What do we do when there are communication problems?  How can we ask for help when we need it without being a burden?  And how do our family members feel about these issues?  We invite you to join our free forum, read some posts... and when you're ready...share your challenges and wisdom."

Well I know if my rotten, good-for-nothing parents had bothered to get me music lessons growing up I would have cured cancer, won a Nobel prize, and solved global warming by now.  But ooooohhhhhhh, nooooooooo, they just kept a roof over my head, clothes on my back, food on the table, paid for private school, paid for 6 years of karate lessons, paid for me to take a trip to Taiwan, paid for college, paid for my wedding, and still buy my kids most of their clothes.  Those selfish slackers!!!!!

As a parent, you know if your teens tell you they hate you once a day, you've got to be doing something right.  Sometimes the teenaged years last into their 20s.  Stay strong.  Good luck!
