"Welcome to WiseWomenUnite.com -- When adult children marry and leave home, life can sometimes get more complex instead of simpler.  Being a mother-in-law or daughter-in-law can be tough.  How do we extend love and support to our mothers-in-law, adult children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and grandchildren without interfering?  What do we do when there are communication problems?  How can we ask for help when we need it without being a burden?  And how do our family members feel about these issues?  We invite you to join our free forum, read some posts... and when you're ready...share your challenges and wisdom."

So you started in on the mimosas without me, huh?

Does the party ever really start before you arrive Pen?  I don't think so.

I'd rather be drinking mimosas than going to work & running errands today. Is it warm where you are Laurie? Perhaps a lounge-by-the-pool day? We know Luise is basking in the hot sun, LOL.

Everytime Luise uses the smiley with the sunglasses...I envision her sitting by a pool, making her spunky statement and then immediately sticking her sunglasses back on and going back to her business of relaxing.

OMG, it is beautiful here today.. everyone should be a Texan :)  high is 74, slight breeze, no clouds... I have the house open and I'm listening to the birds.  My chihuahua are still laying on their hotpad because they are wimpy little dogs.  My dh brought me home 10 plants last night because he knew I wanted to put in a small planter ... I thought it was a nice gesture, but now I have to find the Texas Mountain Laurel that I needed for the planter so I think I may go out and do that.. walking around a nursery seems like a nice way to spend the day.

Lovely picture, Laurie! I use the sunglasses icon when I think something is "coo!"  ;D ;D I don't live where it shines...except about 58 days a a year and then we blink like little moles!

Don't let those IMac  people know about your site.. they'll be here trying  to convert all of us.

Hope you had a blast with Kirk today... I walked the nurseries and then stopped for a mani/pedi oh and for the first (and last time) ever I got a massage... Expensive and it hurt, and it felt a little perverted lol

Sincere thanks to everyone who participated in my mom's birthday gift.

I was going to wait until her group party on Saturday, but the timing just felt right today. She was surprised and moved by your kindness.

Special appreciation to Laurie for heading up the effort.

Best Wishes,
~~ Kirk
