Thanks so much, S. The pacemaker is needing some fine tuning. However, the dizziness, gasping for breath and exhaustion are all gone.

So do they hook you up to a machine, like they do my car, and tell me what's wrong?  :)

Thinking of you and hope you are on the road to a speedy recovery.

Yes, Pooh. I have a Boston Scientific (pacemaker brand) remote monitor in my home. It checks me automatically day and night. If something is off, that company sends a FAX to my cardiologist. In this instance, he's calling me back into his Cardio Lab for adjustments. It's a two wire pacemaker; one wire to the top of my heart to replace the node that creates the beats and one to my lower ventricle to help it pump. This issue involves the upper wire. Too much info? LOL!

Not at all.  I know what a pacemaker is, but know nothing about how they really work.   I for one, am so glad that the technology exists nowadays to do things like this.  Do you remember the show "The Bionic Woman?"  I couldn't help but get the theme song running through my head thinking about you!  :)

P., The issue I described was a technical one and has been corrected. It's wonderful how those that have pacemakers have been able to return to productive lives. I don't have my energy back yet but it's only been three weeks today. The symptoms of dizziness and gasping for breath just from trying to walk across the room are gone and I am so grateful :D :D :D
