September 4th
« on: September 05, 2009, 06:44:54 AM »
Yesterday was my wonderful Grandmother's birthday....she took me in and raised me when my Mother died.  All I am as a person, to her I owe.  I would give anything I have to see her one more time.  Hold her hand, talk to her, sit next to her. It wasn't because she was the most beautiful, she was the most loving.

I think it's true.....it's not how a person looks or anything they say, it's how you feel in their presence that makes the difference.

Wonderful memories and role model. How old would she have been yesterday?

How sad that she left so early especially when she was so loved.

My husband was born the same year. That was before WWI and is sure getting back there.

My parents (not grandparents) were both born in the 1800s!!
