The space to fall in love with gc

I would like to share with you ladies what I read:


"I feel that I've been put on earth to love my grandchildren.  Your grandchildren can be a love object in a way that your own children can't.  You eat, sleep and breathe your own children.  They're just too close to you.  They're part of your life.  You're doing the school runs, getting the football kit ready, whatever.  But with a grandchild one has the space to fall in love".    Author:  The Guardian

Luise, that's so great! How exciting! And you probably don't feel much older than she...I'm often a little shocked to realize that I'm no longer 18, LOL.
