that was a great post, tryingmybest. 

Another take:  This GF could be one of those 2 things.....or.....she could just be a stepping stone in time that will vanish with his eventual past and he can take the lesson learned and move on.   ;)  But, it's his to make, absolutely.

Yep, 18 is really young to make that big a decision it is so scary for us because we know those decisions shape everyone's lives. It was SO much easier when they were little kids. "sigh" miss those days so much some days.
