DS called me last Thursday to ask if I could pick him up some White Castles hamburgers.  I love them, but can no longer eat them as I'm trying to get in shape before the baby gets here, which is in late June.  I also try to avoid them because I burp them up for hours after eating them and they are to burgers what x-lax is to chocolate....anyhoo....I was going to get them for him but the only one I close to went out of business.  I will look for another spot tomorrow and hopefully he can stop by for a visit again when he picks them up.

LOL nikncon,    No worries there.  I won't even look at one!

Sorry to hear about DS's heartbreak.  It's really tough when they get their hearts broken.  My YS went thru that.  I knew he was hurting but I did not know the extent.  It was actually FDIL (when we were speaking) who told me how serious it really was.  When YS GF broke up with him he went into a state of deep depression.  He covered all his windows and almost never left his room. FDIL allowed me to view his FB account via hers and he was writing some very painful and physically harmful stuff.  My YS was drinking and taking excessive doses of allergy pills.  MY allergy pills. They disappeared twice and I thought that I had misplaced them. One FB post YS wrote said that he was so numb from drinking and taking the pills that he "couldn't feel his face".  My heart broke. I had no idea he was hurting so bad. 

Anyhoo, it does get better.  He still loves her, no doubt. But he managed to pull himself out of the funk.  I must admit that it took a long time, but it did get better.

I used to love then when I lived in Michigan and didn't know any better! LOL! I've never seen them in WA state.

Hi Muffin,

I hope he enjoys them when he comes by and we call them gut-busters for the same reason but oh they are so good!
