I've been complaining a lot recently on the MIL/DIL part of this site, so now I'd like to post a positive thing here. I got an email from mother of DIL yesterday and it made my heart sing. Amongsst other good things she talked about the two wonderful boys we have in common - our GK's. I'm now really optimistic that things will mend in time. I'm going away now with a much lighter heart and a smile on my face. :)
It doesn't take much to make things better.
