Just wanted to post some reasonably "good news". Whilst my daughter is continuing to be difficult and freeze me out aided and abetted by my ex,  my son rang me last night to say thank you for his presents,and we had a chat which was nice, so I slept reasonably well which was nice. :) :)

Thank you, I am so glad that I joined this site, your wise words and support are very much appreciated.I have made a pact with myself today to start trying to be kind to myself and stop banging my head on the wall. If my daughter wants to forget all those lovely times we shared that is her choice, she didn't have a Mary Poppins childhood, but then again neither did I, but I did the best that I could. I need to start looking after myself as of now.
